Dr. Allison Koonce is co-owner of Pleasant Valley Veterinary Clinic in the heart of Little Rock, Arkansas. Dr. Allison holds her USDA certification for interstate travel, DEA license and is a member of the Arkansas Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Allison received her education at Louisiana State University where she majored in Biological Engineering and went on to graduate in the top 10 of her class at the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Allison is a lifelong member of Tau Beta Pi, the Engineering Honor Society, Omicron Delta Kappa, the Leadership Honor Society, Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity for Women and Phi Zeta, the Veterinary Honor Society. Dr. Koonce was chosen to participate in Summer Scholars, a competitive student research program, and went on to win First Place for her poster presentation of "The role of the Edwardsiella ictaluri type IV secretion system in virulence in channel catfish". Currently, Dr. Allison is a member of the Junior League of Little Rock and enjoys volunteering and giving back to her community. Her favorite Arkansas experiences include the birth of her son Louis in 2016 and completing the Little Rock Half Marathon. Dr. Allison and Dr. Brent have one dog, a rescue chihuahua mix named Diego!
Dr. Jonathan Brent Koonce is co-owner of Pleasant Valley Veterinary Clinic in Little Rock, Arkansas. Dr. Koonce grew up in Little Rock and is a graduate of Catholic High School. He studied at the University of California at Santa Barbra and went on to earn his BS in Animal Science from the Dale Bumper's Honors College at the University of Arkansas. Dr. Koonce earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University where he received Clinical Excellence Awards in both Small Animal Medicine and Surgery, and Oncology. Dr. Koonce currently holds his DEA license, USDA Accreditation and is a member of the Arkansas Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Koonce enjoys spending time with his family and exploring the beauty of Arkansas with his son Louis.
Dr. Aubren Cabe is from Greenwood, Arkansas. She attended Arkansas Tech University for her undergraduate studies and graduated summa cum laude. She moved to Baton Rouge, LA to attend veterinary school at LSU. Dr. Cabe is member of Phi Zeta veterinary honor society and AVMA. She is married to her high school sweetheart and together they have three rescue pups.
Nicole started working for Pleasant Valley Veterinary Clinic in 2017. She has one cat named Nizza. When she is not at work she is either fishing, gardening, and traveling. She is also an Essential Oil Educator.
Brooke started working for Pleasant Valley Veterinary Clinic in December of 2015. She is from Pensacola, FL and has her associates from the University of West Florida. She is currently enrolled in Veterinary Tech school to broaden her knowledge of Vet medicine. Her main goal is to pursue a higher education in the Veterinary field. She is ProHeart and K-Laser certified. Her hobbies include hiking Pinnacle Mountain.
Desiree has been working for Pleasant Valley Veterinary Clinic since February of 2018. She got her BA from Northwestern State University in biology with a concentration in Veterinary technology and her associates in Veterinary Technology. She has two dogs named Maggie and Bella. Maggie is 7-years-old and loves to roll down hills, play tug-a-war, and cuddle. Desiree rescued her 2 years ago. Bella is also 7-years-old and loved to play ball and cuddle. When Desiree is not at work she loves cooking, hiking, and camping.
Carley has worked for Pleasant Valley Veterinary Clinic since November 2017 and she is a Certified Veterinary Assistant. Currently, she has three types of species of pets at home and she enjoys grooming and walking them when she isn't working at Pleasant Valley Veterinary Clinic.
Jordan started working for Pleasant Valley Veterinary Clinic in 2014. She graduated from Heritage College in Little Rock, AR. She is a dog mom of a golden retriever and three beagles. In her spare time she enjoys cooking and she is currently learning to sew.
Tori started working for Pleasant Valley Veterinary Clinic again in 2019, but she had worked here previously for a year and a half. She has an Aussie named Isabelle and a cat named Lakin. Eventually, she wants to be a DVM, so she loves PVVC for the experience she’s gaining. She enjoys sleeping, hiking, tattoos, and being outside.
Coty started working for Pleasant Valley Veterinary Clinic in 2017 and has one dog named Alfie. When he is not at work his hobbies include film making and making music.
Brent has worked for Pleasant Valley Veterinary Clinic for over 20 years. He has two English bulldogs named Belvedere and Gurrtrude. When he is not at work he enjoys fishing and gardening.
Jerrica started working for Pleasant Valley Veterinary Clinic in 2018. She has four cats named Cow, Poof, Si, and Pip. She strives to ensure all patients and clients are happy and to learn as much as she possibly can to make their visit easy. She enjoys reading, DIY projects, hanging out with friends, and listening to music.
Kristen started working for Pleasant Valley Veterinary Clinic again in 2019, but she had worked here previously for 1 year. She has a 5-year-old Aussie named Ghost and a 3-year-old Aussie named Koda. She is focused on building strong relationships with all clients and pets that come into the clinic and providing great customer service with a positive attitude. She enjoys being active and going to to the gym, spending time with her dogs, and reading books or listening to podcasts.
Loren started working for Pleasant Valley Veterinary Clinic in 2018. She has two cats named Tokyo and Leroy. She is focused on learning more about caring for animals, and of course loving on as many animals as possible. She enjoys reading, listening to music, painting, and going to concerts.
Dane started working for Pleasant Valley Veterinary Clinic in June 2018. He is originally from Ohio and is trained in Culinary Arts and has his Bachelors in Human Nutrition. He loves to cook, travel, play disc golf, and watch football and baseball outside of work.
Freddie started working for Pleasant Valley Veterinary Clinic in 2018. He has two dogs named Pugsley and Marlon. Every day, he strives to give pets the utmost care and treatment they need. He enjoys playing video games, swimming, hiking, and traveling.
